Boric acid, occasionally applied as a safe indoor insecticide, is not effective against bed bugs.

Wash linens often, keep an eye out of spotting, don’t leave a lot of clothes clutter where they can hide, Change and wash clothes after visiting Friends or relatives, after going out to a restaurant, Theater or trying on clothes at the mall. 

We don’t want to frighten you from leaving your house, but the reality is that bed bugs are everywhere, and most of the time people don’t know where they originated the first time.

Hygiene is not the cause of a bed bug infestation, although keeping hygiene up by washing linens twice a week and doing the above mentioned, keeps you more engaged and further reduces the risk.
